Accommodation Overview
The villa has five en suite bedrooms, all with large beds, memory-foam mattresses and top-quality bed linen. The principal suite is a spacious, loft-style bedroom with a seating area in front of the fireplace, a freestanding copper bath, and double basins and a shower behind a half wall. Two extra, high-quality single beds can be added on request in two of the bedrooms. All the bedrooms have en suite shower rooms with high-performance fixtures and fittings, including heated mirrors. Outside, there's a covered veranda that wraps round a corner of the building to a comfy seating area and a dining table, separated by a stone-built wood-fired pizza oven and BBQ. The garden has been carefully landscaped with Mediterranean planting, irrigated lawns and steps edged in Corten steel that lead from the shaded parking area to the door, and from the veranda to the pool. There are two pools: the second is a 50cm-deep children’s one, with sunloungers in both the sun and shade.
Local Area
There are long walks and mountain-bike rides directly from the property, while beach and water-sport facilities are a short drive away at Lake Trasimeno (25 km). For golfers there is a choice of three courses: nine holes at the Lamborghini Golf Course in nearby Panicarola (16 km), or 18 holes at Golf Club Perugia in Ellera Umbra (28 km) or a little further away (44km) is Antognolla Golf Course, one of the best in Italy. Tennis is available 2km from the property and horseriding 8km away at Montegabbione. A bilingual concierge can arrange cooking lessons, a private chef for your entire stay or someone who can prepare a special lunch, dinner, pizzas or BBQ, as well as day trips. Nearest airport is Perugia (40kms) whilst Florence and Rome are approx 170kms away.
